Murder, Rape and Arson Continue in India |

NEW DELHI (ANS) -- The wave of anti-Christian attacks that began a month ago continued in the past week with more incidents of murder, rape and arson, mostly in the eastern state of Orissa and southern state of Karnataka. Two Christians were also found murdered in the northern state of Uttarakhand.

New Delhi: With the violence continuing in Karnataka and fresh attacks on churches, home minister Shivraj Patil has asked the special secretary (internal security) M.L. Kumawat to rush to Bengaluru to assess the security measures for tackling the situation in the state. The high-powered home ministry team will visit Karnataka on Tuesday and will hold discussions with the chief secretary and other senior state government officials.
